Update from Your RV Workers On Wheels Newsletter Editor
The flexibility and variety we have as working RVers is tremendous. Dick emails me to say he is running away to join the circus. (He's their new booking agent.) Mary writes that she is working at a Texas campground
and vending at flea markets. Excitement rang in Toni's voice as she told me about a volunteer mushroom hunting workshop she is helping with in Alaska.
As your newsletter editor, I get to hear these stories first hand. Other RVers would like to hear them, too. Would you please take a few minutes and share what you are doing with your fellow newsletter readers? It is easy to do on our
website.
Wherever you are in your work and travels, we wish you joy
and prosperity,
Coleen

Working RVer Tip: Resume Blunder -- Badmouthing Your Last Employer
"If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." Remember that
old saying from when you were a kid? Well, put it to use on your resume when you are listing your past job experience and describing your former employer.

Flea Marketing - Our Personal
Experience as Flea Market Vendors
Bob and I started full-time RVing in the spring of 1992, working flea markets most every weekend. Over the years, we've set up a booth in states from Alaska to Texas, from the Carolinas to California. I've written a three-part article about our experiences.

Working RVer Tip: Make the Call -- Once
Follow-up on your initial contacts. Your email may have gotten deleted. Your resume may be sitting in a pile on someone's desk, amid 50 others. A phone call
can help ensure that you and your application aren't lost. Calling once can be helpful. A word of caution, though -- if you call or email repeatedly within a short period of time, it can do more harm than good.
