Update from Your RV Workers On Wheels Newsletter Editor
We're back in Alaska for the summer. Someone asked if there are any jobs available here. Yes. Oh, my, yes. There's a severe shortage of seasonal workers in this part of the state again this year. The owner of
the bakery told me his shop is closed some days because he cannot find people to work; he hires bakers, gift shop and counter sales workers, and maintenance and cleaning people. It seems every restaurant in town has a Help Wanted sign in the window, with a need for cooks, servers, and dishwashers to work any and all shifts. The Alaska Department of Natural Resources has numerous volunteer openings at recreation areas, game refuges, boat launches, day use facilities, and campgrounds; although
considered volunteer, some of the state positions do include a stipend or subsistence payment. Major retailers in the area are hiring. A school bus aid told me they were short of drivers for summer school. And, if you like to plan ahead, it is this way every summer.
Watching the RVs go past on the highway, one
thing stands out this year: more small RVs and fewer huge ones this year than last. Instead of the long fifth-wheels and diesel pushers with toads, we're seeing more Class Bs and tiny trailers.
Wherever you are in your work and travels, we wish you joy and prosperity,
Coleen

JR Watkins - A Location Independent Business for RVers
Bob and I have been selling JR Watkins products since 2005. People love the vanilla,
cinnamon, and pepper, the old time remedies, and the natural skin care products - and that makes it easy to sell. The business is extremely flexible. You do as much or as little as you want. No minimum orders. They'll drop-ship the products for you. Work the business wherever your RV travels take you -- USA or Canada. See the product catalog and learn
more.

Working RVer Tip -- Catch the Good Luck of Successful People
Develop a network of positive, successful people. Their "good luck" will rub off on you. Actually, it's their positive attitude and appropriate actions, but the point's the same. Their good outlook and good habits set good examples for you to follow.

Referrals and Finders Fees
You naturally tell people about products and services you like
and use. You're sitting around the campfire chatting and as you reach for the insect repellent, you mention how this one works better than any other you've tried. Someone admires your new earrings and asks where you bought them. You just went on an RV caravan to Alaska and you can't wait to tell everyone about it. Businesses gladly pay you to spread the word about their products and services.

Working RVer Tip -- Diversify
Have at least two income streams. This adds both variety and
