Update from Your RV Workers On Wheels Newsletter Editor

Guys, do you love to dance? I saw in an AARP Bulletin that men are being paid $20 an hour to work as dance partners at retirement centers. Ladies wanting to dance outnumber the men available at the centers. So, the centers are hiring men who can dance, to even things out.

Thank you for all the positive comments about the updates we've been making to the website. It's great to know you find the articles helpful -- and that the new horizontal navigation bar across the top of the site makes them easier to find.

Wherever you are in your work and travels, we wish you joy and prosperity,

Coleen

JR Watkins - A Location Independent Business for RVers

Bob and I have been selling JR Watkins products since 2005. People love the vanilla, cinnamon, and pepper, the old time remedies, and the natural skin care products - and that makes it easy to sell. The business is extremely flexible. You do as much or as little as you want. No minimum orders. They'll drop-ship the products for you. Work the business wherever your RV travels take you -- USA or Canada. See the product catalog and learn more.

Working RVer Tip - Landscape Contractors

Landscape contractors are a good source of spring jobs. They are preparing ground for new sod and laying the sod; removing protective winter mulch and replacing it with a decorative variety; and planting trees and shrubbery. Although they may need backhoe and tractor operators, they also need people to run a hand shovel and rake.

Working RVer Tip - Frame of Reference

The answer you receive will depend on whom you ask. If you ask a volunteer worker about job openings, he will probably tell you about volunteer positions. If you ask a paid employee the same question, he will probably tell you about paying jobs.
