Update from Your RV Workers On Wheels Newsletter Editor

Voluntourism. A press release that came across my desk defines "voluntourism" as a travel experience that provides the opportunity to contribute to local community projects and development initiatives with some time off to visit the highlights of that particular destination or country. Supposedly, voluntourism is new and trendy. However, it sounds to me like the volunteer work-while-camping RVers have been doing for decades.

Bob and I are grieving over the loss of our beloved NeeMo -- our dog. He was 17 years old, partially deaf, mostly blind, and had some arthritis. He was happy and doing okay with those age related issues. However, he recently developed a fast growing tumor, which changed that. When he no longer looked happy, couldn't play, and sometimes wouldn't even eat treats, we knew he hurt too much to continue. We miss him terribly, but we know we did the right thing.

It's not too early to think about Christmas. At least not when it comes to looking at fall and early-winter short-time jobs. You'll find more about that farther down in this newsletter.

Wherever you are in your work and travels, we wish you joy and prosperity,

Coleen

JR Watkins - A Location Independent Business for RVers

Bob and I have been selling JR Watkins products since 2005. People love the vanilla, cinnamon, and pepper, the old time remedies, and the natural skin care products - and that makes it easy to sell. The business is extremely flexible. You do as much or as little as you want. No minimum orders. They'll drop-ship the products for you. Work the business wherever your RV travels take you -- USA or Canada. See the product catalog and learn more.

Working RVer Tip - Keeping Track of Expenses

Put all of your purchases on a single debit or credit card and you will have an easy to read, concise list of your expenditures. It will show the dates of the purchases. In many instances, it will also show the location. If you are keeping track of your expenses and whereabouts for income tax purposes, this provides another layer of documentation.
