Update from Your RV Workers On Wheels Newsletter Editor

Here's your mid-week Workers On Wheels Newsletter jobs update edition. We're writing this edition while parked at a Love's truck stop in Iowa, Louisiana. I think we are on our way to Galveston, Texas. We don't know for sure where we are going, or what we are going to do when we get there. So, we thought it was best to pull off the road and take time to do this issue.

I had to delete several Help Wanted ads that came in because they did not include even the most basic information. If there's no business name, no location, and no contact info, it doesn't leave us much to go on. I sometimes hear from RVers asking that we require businesses to include all sorts of additional information in their ads. I love it when the posts come in with info about the job benefits as well as the job duties, about the business, and let us know what there is to do and see in the area. Realistically, though, we limit our requirements to what we consider the basic essentials: the business name; the city and state where the job is located; and contact information such as a phone number, email address, or website. We're hoping those who submitted Help Wanteds and forgot to include that info will submit their ads again. (If you need to submit, please use the website form.

We should be back over the weekend with the full-length issue of the newsletter, with articles, tips, and resources, as well as the jobs.

Wherever you are in your work and travels, we wish you joy and prosperity,

Coleen

Change does not necessarily assure progress, but progress implacably requires change. Education is essential to change, for education creates both new wants and the ability to satisfy them. ~ Henry Steele Commager
