Bob and I are still in Abbeville, Louisiana. Life at Betty's RV Park is very social, with daily happy hour and
frequent group outings. Yesterday was a Cajun music jam session at the Acadian Museum of Erath Museum Cafe. We followed it with a crawfish boil at Big John's Seafood Patio. Obviously, we are enjoying the Cajun community, food, music, and people.

It is important to let the prospective employer know what you expect and what you are and aren't willing to do. It isn't fair to you
or to them if you go into a job that requires you to do something you aren't satisfied doing. The dissatisfaction will fester into trouble.

Working RVer Tip - Consider a Disposable Email Address
When you post (or ask to have posted for you) a
Work Wanted classified ad or your resume on a website, and you include your email address in the ad, it is out there on the web for anyone and everyone to see. That is both the beauty and the beast of Internet advertising. You may want to get a disposable email address, for posting on the Internet.

WebsiteA blog or website is yet another way to earn a living without being tied to one location. Your blog can be about most anything. Picking a topic that you enjoy can make it seem more like fun than work. Still, you have to figure out a way to make money with it. If you'd like to see some examples of how of how others are going about it, see the case studies on SiteBuildIt! = = = = =Work Wanted Ads and ResumesRVers Seeking Work: Post your full resume on the Workers On Wheels website. =Working RVer Tip - Substitute Teaching
Now that more school districts are using temp agencies such as Kelly or Man Power, rather than hiring substitute
teachers directly, it can be even easier for RVers to get subbing jobs. With a temp agency, once you register and do the paperwork, it can be accessed by branch offices in other areas, so you don't have to do it each time you move.

Positive RVing Attitudes
When one door of happiness closes another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door
that we do not see the one which has opened for us. ~ Helen Keller
The true secret of giving advice is, after you have honestly given it, to be perfectly indifferent whether it is taken or not, and never persist in trying to set people right. ~ Hannah Whitall Smith
