Update from Your RV Workers On Wheels Newsletter Editor

A special welcome to all of our new Workers On Wheels readers. We're glad to have you with us. You'll find we usually do two issues of the newsletter each week. The weekend edition is normally a mix of job openings, working-while-RVing tips, resources to help you, answers to questions, and links back to articles on our Workers On Wheels website. The mid-week jobs update edition, is typically more or less limited to letting you know about some of the most recent job postings. In between newsletters, you can find out what is new on the website here.

Some of you have been with us for years -- make that decades. The first Workers On Wheels Newsletter came out in February 1994. You've stuck with us through some changes -- a paper newsletter, a magazine, and now the e-zine and website. Bob and I appreciate your loyalty. Thank you!

We also do an e-zine about our general RV life and travels, the non-work side of things. You can see the July issue here.

Wherever you are in your work and travels, we wish you joy and prosperity,

Coleen

Working RVer Tip - Take Advantage of Campground Word-of-Mouth

Word travels fast in a campground. If you are good at something, and charge a reasonable price, your fellow RVers will soon hear about it. Help out a neighbor or the RVers across the way. Do a good job. Chances are he'll tell others about it and before long you will have plenty of jobs.

A Few of the Current Job Openings for RVers

Here are some -- NOT ALL -- of the most recently listed job openings. What you see here are just a few of those that we have listed on the website. Go to the Workers On Wheels website to see the full job listings -- including the contact information -- for hundreds of positions.

To find the job postings that were received and posted in July -- a couple days ago -- click here.

To find the job openings that we received and posted so far this month, August, go here.

We'll be adding to the August page throughout the month. The reason there aren't many there, yet, is because it is only the beginning of the month, and, the month started on a weekend.

To see the jobs posted last month, June, go to our Workers On Wheels website.

You can also find archives of jobs listed in previous months.

Working RVer Tip - Reach Out and Make Contact

If you want to work at a particular campground call them to see if they are hiring. They may want you to send a resume, so have one ready. Tell them about your skills and experience. If you are willing to learn new things, be sure to mention that. Having the initiative to reach out may make the difference in getting the job or not.
