Joe is a tattoo artist. He has a shop in Homer, Alaska where he works in the summer. Come fall, he heads to warm, sunny beaches. Anna spends her summers working in a busy Soldotna, Alaska, bakery, selling tourists doughnuts and moose-themed gifts. She winters in Kentucky, where she can be with her grandkids. Sherry does billing for an attorney. She communicates and transmits her
work electronically, so she can work anywhere she travels. That often means Alaska in the summer and Tennessee in the winter. Jon is a summer fishing guide, taking anglers out on the Kasilof River to fish for salmon. When it gets cold, he goes where it's warm, switches job hats, and is a professional golfer. Mike cooks at one of the best cafes in Alaska. When we last visited in September, he and a friend were planning on taking off on a winter long road trip. They were setting out in their
new-to-them camping van, with no set destinations. He said he'd see us this spring, and we look forward to chatting with him again in a couple weeks. Tony is "retired." But, he writes books in the winter and goes gold panning in the summer. Working RVers are a varied bunch and so are the jobs they choose to finance their travels.
We'll be publishing Workers On Wheels Newsletter Issue #1000 this summer. That calls for a celebration! Any ideas?

Working RVer
Tip - Picture Requested with Resume
If campground managers ask for a photo of your rig as part of the hiring process, they probably want to see that it looks neat and clean. That goes for the area

Positive RVing AttitudesYou need to make a commitment, and once you make
it, then life will give you some answers. ~ Les Brown
I am not judged by the number of times I fail, but by the number of times I succeed; and the number of times I succeed is in direct proportion to the number of times I can fail and keep on trying. ~ Tom Hopkins
