EditorNovember is here. So is the season for Winter Texans and snowbirds. RV parks in the southern states are looking for RVers who can start work now. Whether because of illness, plans that didn't materialize, or overbooking, there are always RVers who do not show up to fill the positions they had accepted. Those positions are now available. Many of the Help Wanted ads coming in are looking for people who
can start ASAP.
Bob and I are currently in South Dakota. We're enjoying the Black Hills. Bob continues to work on the used motorhome we bought. In addition to our newsletters and websites, I'm working on additional training and support materials for our Jerky Direct and Watkins teams.
I’m looking
forward to a terrific – and busy – November. Be sure to send in your new Help Wanted and Work Wanted ads so we can get them posted for you. Wherever you are in your work and travels, we wish you joy and prosperity,Coleen= = = = =Working RVer Tip - Beating Your Weaknesses
How do you overcome your weaknesses? Prepare an answer to that question before you go on your job interview. The interviewer may ask you what your weaknesses are. What he probably wants to know, however, is how you compensate for them. = = = =
=Coleen Recommends These are businesses that Bob and I work, that I personally know to be worthwhile. The products are excellent. The companies are great to work with and are in the USA. The support and training is exceptional. Jerky Direct - We are now sending all new distributors on our team a free bag
of natural jerky, because the best way to sell the jerky is to taste it. There is no fee to sign up to become a distributor. More into here. One Minute Business - Simple, 2-steps. Uses social media. Working RVer Tip - Volunteer Job Experience
Counts
Your time as a volunteer can count as legitimate job experience. When listing your job experiences on your resume, they don't need to come from paid positions. Document your tasks and duties along with
your responsibilities and accomplishments. Keep track of the dates of your volunteer positions and names of your supervisors, so you can use that info on your applications. Your volunteer supervisor may also be an ideal reference for you.
