Update from Your RV Workers On Wheels Newsletter Editor

I'm writing this issue in Bellingham, Washington. Bob and I just completed a six-night trip on the Alaska Marine Highway. We travelled from Whittier, AK on the MV Kennicott. Today we went to the Bellingham Farmers Market. We also took in the Annual Fall Fruit Festival at the Cloud Mountain Farm Center in nearby Everson. We rounded out the day - which is also our 34th wedding anniversary -- with dinner at On Rice, a Thai restaurant here in Bellingham.

Wherever you are in your work and travels, we wish you joy and prosperity,

Coleen

Working RVer Tip - Volunteer Job Experience Counts

Your time as a volunteer can count as legitimate job experience. When listing your job experiences on your resume, they don't need to come from paid positions. Document your tasks and duties along with your responsibilities and accomplishments. You also need to keep track of the dates of the volunteer positions and names of your supervisors.

Coleen Recommends

These are businesses that Bob and I work, that I personally know to be worthwhile. The products are excellent. The companies are great to work with and are in the USA. The support and training is exceptional.

Jerky Direct - Enroll on my team and I'll send you jerky, free. No sign-up fee. You just pay for the jerky you purchase to sell (or to eat). More into here.

One Minute Business - Simple, 2-steps. Uses social media. Details here.

JR Watkins Product Sales - Natural spices, natural skin care, natural cleaners. Old time remedies. Excellent products to sell at fall bazaars.  Find out more.

Working RVer Tip - Set Yourself above Other Job Seekers

Update your job resume with a positive job report. You have your resume posted on our website. After you finish a job, if it was a good experience, post an update letting others know about it. This helps other RVers know about a good place to work. It also sets you above the competition. The facts are that many working campers grumble and complain. Employers look for workers with positive attitudes. Posting about your good experience showcases your positive nature.
