Update from Your RV Workers On Wheels Newsletter Editor

RV parks are looking for working RVers who can start now or in the next few weeks. Sure, some campgrounds are looking for workers for next summer. But, most of the recent job postings are for winter workers.

Bob and I are planning to be in Washington State the first part of October. We'll be doing campground reviews. If you have an RV park or cabins, and would like us to stop by for a visit, let me know. We'll be arriving in Bellingham, via the AK Marine Highway ferry. We don't have a set itinerary or schedule.

One of the postings in this issue is for a museum. Bob and I have done museum work, both as volunteers and paid employees. It's an excellent way to learn about an area, as well as about the theme of the museum.

Wherever you are in your work and travels, we wish you joy and prosperity,

Coleen

Working RVer Tip

Shopping at a particular store (or using their service) may give you an edge for employment there. Since you are already familiar with the merchandise (service) your training time may be less than for someone who doesn't have that knowledge.

Earn Your Living with a Blog or Website

A blog or website is yet another way to earn a living without being tied to one location. Your blog can be about most anything. Picking a topic that you enjoy can make it seem more like fun than work. Still, you have to figure out a way to make money with it. If you'd like to see some examples of how of how others are going about it, see the case studies on SiteBuildIt!

Your Working While RVing Questions Answered - When Your Application Isn't Getting the Desired Response

~ An RVer writes: I have been emailing job applications and most of these people never respond. That is just rude.

~ My answer addresses two things. One is regarding realistic expectations. The other is on things you can do to increase the likelihood of getting a response. You may not like my answer.
