Update from Your RV Workers On Wheels Newsletter Editor

Some great job postings these past few days. Three Bears Gallery in Denali National Park, Alaska, is offering a co-manager couple $26,000 to oversee the gift shop for four months this summer. The salary is split with $13,250 for the manager and $12,750 for the assistant manager. TNT Fireworks is looking for RVers to manage fireworks stands. They say you'll make $2000-$4000 dollars during the 10-day gig. Crystal Lake Scout Reservation Boy Scout Camp has a paid position open for a Support Services Director. The scout camp also uses volunteers.

Among the RV park campground positions, several are for the camp cafe. There are RV park positions available for activity directors, maintenance workers, housekeepers, and office workers, etc. The RV park positions include work-for-sites, pay for all hours, and combinations of trading out some hours with wages for the extras. There are also volunteer positions with non-profits, including a historical society in Talkeetna, Alaska. Whether you want to do property caretaking at a private ranch or camp host in a National Park, you'll find it.

As I was putting together the list of "Ways RVers Make Money" for this issue, I was again reminded that I really should make a list of all the various kinds of work Bob and I have done. The particular job that brought this to mind was cruise ship worker. When we were in Seward, Alaska, for a few months, Bob worked as a casual with the Longshoremen. The job was loading and unloading luggage from the cruise ships that come into port at Seward.

In between newsletters, you can find the newest job postings here.

Wherever you are in your work and travels, we wish you joy and prosperity,

Coleen

Working RVer Tip

RV park owners don't always say what they mean in their job postings. I trust they are better campground managers than writers. So, you need to ask questions. Ask for clarification. Ask for information that is missing.

You work the business wherever your RV travels take you. No quotas. No monthly fees. Cost is $19.95 to enroll, and when you do so this month (March), Watkins will send you a $20.00 gift certificate.
