Working RVer Tip
.
Follow your job interview with a thank you note. If the interview was y email, it is fine to send the thank you by email. However, a written-on-paper, mailed via the postal system may have a bigger impact.

The Jerky Business that Lets You Be Location Independent

Campground jobs are convenient, if you want to stay in one place for a month or longer. But, if your desire is to be truly nomadic and to move frequently, you need something else. One location independent way to earn a living is to join me in Jerky Direct. Natural and organic jerky. No sign-up fee. No website fee. Our training is specific, practical, and RVer tested.

Earn Your Living with a Blog or Website

A blog or website is yet another way to earn a living without being tied to one location. Your blog can be about most anything. Picking a topic that you enjoy can make it seem more like fun than work. Still, you have to figure out a way to make money with it. If you'd like to see some examples of how of how others are going about it, see the case studies on SiteBuildIt!

Working RVer Tip

Build a career network. Include former employers, co-workers, and fellow RVers. Include people in the industry in which you want to work. If you are looking for campground jobs, that might include campground owners, owners of RV parts and repair services, people who write for outdoors publications, and board members of camping and RVing organizations.

RVing, Working, and Taxes

I fully understand that income taxes aren't your favorite subject. But, it's the end of the year. Some planning now might save you a wad of cash come April 15th. These articles about taxes aren't just what someone would like to believe, or what someone heard. They were written for us by a tax expert and legal authority, who is also an RVer -- Martin M. Shenkman, CPA, MBA, JD. I hope you find them helpful.

There are more. You'll find them here.

Another Location Independent Business for RVers

Bob and I have been working with this respected home business since 2005, though the company has been around since 1868 (yes, more than 140 years!). People love the vanilla, cinnamon, and pepper, the old time remedies, and the natural skin care products - and that makes it easy to sell. It's extremely flexible. You do as much or as little as you want -- no monthly minimums. And, you can work the business wherever your RV travels take you.
