Arts and craft shows and holiday bazaars...what a broad opportunity they provide working RVers. Bob and I went to two of them yesterday. We visited with some of the vendors, took pictures, and did some observing.
Vendors at these shows were selling all sorts of things. One vendor was selling etched goose eggs. At least two had natural lotions and soaps. Among the handmade items were jewelry, woodwork, metalwork, and fabric crafts.. Some vendors represented direct sales companies, with products ranging from fingernail art to cookware. There was a booth with local honey. An author was selling his books. Photographers sold framed and unframed prints. Another photographer was taking
pictures of kids with Santa. Someone was giving massages. Someone else was doing face painting. Several operated food concessions.
All of these, along with the other vendor booths, represented mobile businesses. It was a gold mine of ideas.
Some vendors had crowds gathered around their booth. Others sat there looking rather lost and disappointed. Some had two or three people working in their booth, and still could barely keep up with sales. Others had time to read. It was not the quality or the prices of the merchandise that made the difference. Nor was it the booth location. What mattered was engagement and how the
vendor was interacting with people.
I'll try to get some of those pictures posted for you soon.
Speaking of pictures, some of you have

same organizations may routinely welcome -- and depend on -- volunteers. Some of those volunteers may stay in RVs on the property. You may be able to, also.

Working as a property caretaking is possible when you have pets. But don't take for granted that your animals are included in the caretaker offer. Some ads specify dogs and horses are welcome.

Location Independent Business for RVersBob and I have been working with this respected home business since 2005, though the company has been around since 1868 (yes, more than 140 years!). People
love the vanilla, cinnamon, and pepper, the old time remedies, and the natural skin care products - and that makes it easy to sell. It's extremely flexible. You do as much or as little as you want -- no monthly minimums. And, you can work the business wherever your RV travels take you. = = = = =Positive RVing
