I'm a big advocate of keeping a daily journal. Mine serves as a tax diary, documenting our work activities. It's also fun to look through them years later, a reminder of where we were when and what we were doing there. It has settled a few "discussions," where we've had conflicting memories. It's a great resource when we want to know the exact name of a campground we stayed at
18 years ago.
This year, I'm keeping a second journal. A gratitude journal. Every evening, I write down three things for which I am grateful. I'm trying not to duplicate any listing. That means I regularly need to skim through previous entries to see if I've already "used" a particular thing. What a positive way
to end the day!
A pattern has developed. When I'm tired or rushed, I list material things. When I take time to think about it, my entries tend to be experiences, events, circumstances, and people. It makes it astutely clear that I have a passion for travel.
You, our Workers On Wheels friends and RVing family, are among the entries. I am thankful for you and for the connections we share.
Bob and I hope that you, too, have much to be thankful for this year. Happy
Thanksgiving!

Ranch Sitting Gives Us Storybook Scenery, Free RV Parking, and Pay
I sit looking out my RV window at horses grazing in a lush
pasture. Brilliant red cardinals come and go from view. Across the way, deer live in the trees. I can sometimes see them wonder down to the brook for a drink. This is not storybook scene. It is real.

blog or website is yet another way to earn a living without being tied to one location. Your blog can be about most anything. Picking a topic that you enjoy can make it seem more like fun than work. Still, you have to figure out a way to make money with it. If you'd like to see some examples of how of how others are going about it, see the case studies on SiteBuildIt! = = = = =Work Wanted Ads and ResumesRVers Seeking Work: Post your full resume on the Workers On Wheels website. Regarding legal income tax deductions for working RVers,
if you are a full-time RVer and your only home is your RV, the IRS looks at your RV differently than if you have another home.
= = = = =Another Location Independent Business for RVersBob and I have been working with JR Watkins, doing direct sales, since 2005, though the company has been around since 1868 (yes, more than 140 years!). People love the vanilla, cinnamon, and pepper, the old time remedies, and the natural skin care products - and that makes it easy to sell. It's extremely flexible. You do as much or as little as you want -- no monthly minimums. And, you can work the business wherever your RV travels take you. If you are interested or curious, we have an online tour for you. = = = = =Positive RVing Attitudes
As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by
them. ~ John Fitzgerald Kennedy
