Update from Your RV Workers On Wheels Newsletter Editor

What do you do? When someone asks me that, I may answer with one of the following: I write and work on the websites. I'm an independent rep for a couple of companies. I sell used merchandise at flea markets and at our store. I make jewelry. But, in a conversation the other night, I was told that my work is not writing, not selling spices or jerky or used tools, nor is it being an artist. No. These folks said that what I really do is this: I help others improve their lives. WOW! How cool is that!

I hope that you do find our newsletters and websites helpful. I hope that in at least some small way, the information and encouragement we provide does help to improve your life.

Remember, in between newsletters, you can find the newest job postings here.

Wherever you are in your work and travels, we wish you joy and prosperity,

Coleen

Working RVer Tip - Go Above and Beyond With Every Job You Do

Make your employer and his customers feel that you gave them more in services and/or products than what they paid you for. Make them so happy that they can't help but tell their family and friends -- and other business owners -- how great an employee you are.

Earn Your Living with a Blog or Website

A blog or website is yet another way to earn a living without being tied to one location. Your blog can be about most anything. Picking a topic that you enjoy can make it seem more like fun than work. Still, you have to figure out a way to make money with it. If you'd like to see some examples of how of how others are going about it, see the case studies on SiteBuildIt!

Working RVer Tip - Working in Sales

I focus on sales a lot, because it is what a lot of people do. It's how many people earn their living. Many more earn at least a part-time income selling things they make, or being a rep for another company. Add in eBay and similar sites, antique pickers, food concessions, retail workers, and affiliate marketers, Then, there are vendors at flea markets, fairs, festivals, and all sorts of shows. People are in sales because they make money doing it. Travel is often allowed or required, a bonus for RVers.

Another Location Independent Business for RVers

Bob and I have been working with this respected home business since 2005, though the company has been around since 1868 (yes, more than 140 years!). People love the vanilla, cinnamon, and pepper, the old time remedies, and the natural skin care products - and that makes it easy to sell. It's extremely flexible. You do as much or as little as you want -- no monthly minimums. And, you can work the business wherever your RV travels take you.
