Update from Your RV Workers On Wheels Newsletter Editor

Paid job for RVers putting up Christmas decorations. Put up Christmas lights and other decorations, starting in mid-October. Have time off for Christmas. Then, work for a short time in January, taking down all those holiday decorations. Pay is hourly, with time and a half for overtime, and bonuses to help cover your campground cost. More info go here.

I highlighted the above job for a couple reasons. One is that it is a good example of a short-term, seasonal job for RVers. Another is that the compensation offered is something I'm seeing as a growing trend: the cost of the RV site covered as a bonus.

You are paid for all hours worked -- fair enough. Then, if you fulfill your contract, you get an extra monetary payment or a refund of your campground fees. It's a win-win situation for both the employer and the RVer.

Remember, in between newsletters, you can find the newest job postings here.

Wherever you are in your work and travels, we wish you joy and prosperity,

Coleen

Working RVer Tip

Teach for two weeks. I was going through some old newsletters and found an ad from a campground owner. She was looking for someone to teach classes for two weeks at her park. It was a work-for-site offer. She was open to having RVers come in for two-week stays, teaching a class while they were there. Another option was to come for the winter and teach a series of classes. Subjects included hobbies, recreation, and trades-skills, such as chainsaw art, card games, and motor repair. You can put together a class or workshop on most anything that you are interested in or for which you have skills..

There is more to seasonal farm work than planting, hoeing, and picking. Agricultural jobs include dispatchers, truck drivers, bookkeepers, mechanics, machinery operators, scale masters, cooks, etc.

Another Location Independent Business for RVers

Bob and I have been working with this respected home business since 2005, though the company has been around since 1868 (yes, more than 140 years!). People love the vanilla, cinnamon, and pepper, the old time remedies, and the natural skin care products - and that makes it easy to sell. It's extremely flexible. You do as much or as little as you want -- no monthly minimums. And, you can work the business wherever your RV travels take you.
