Workers On Wheels: Work For RVers and Campers

= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

Update from Your RV Workers On Wheels Newsletter Editor

The Help Wanted ads this week are mostly campground and resort positions. Again, there's a mix of compensation packages. Note that some pay for all hours worked, I addition to providing a site for your RV. There are also some neat perks, such an entertainment pass that gives complimentary admission to tourist attractions and restaurant discounts.

Things are calming down here. The forest fire is still blazing. Last I heard, it was nearing 200,000 acres. However, it is heading away from the populated areas. The really good news is that they are making progress with the fire lines and containment. We are feeling much calmer. We do continue to be alert. Thank you for all of your care, concern, and prayers for our safety.

Wherever you are in your work and travels, we wish you joy and prosperity,

Coleen

Ranch Sitting

In this article, I share one of our personal caretaking experiences.

I sit looking out my RV window at horses grazing in a lush pasture. Brilliant red cardinals come and go from view. Across the way, deer live in the trees. I can sometimes see them wonder down to the brook for a drink. This is not storybook scene. It is real.

The property is a gorgeous ranch. We lived there for several months, caring for it as our own. We were ranch sitting.

Working RVer Tip

If you follow the lead of those who are where you want to be, you have a better chance of getting there than if you follow those who haven't yet found the way themselves.

Positive RVing Attitudes

If you can understand who you are and who others are, you will come to the realization that being different isn't wrong. ~ Danny Silk

Nothing contributes so much to tranquilizing the mind as a steady purpose - a point on which the soul may fix its intellectual eye. ~ Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley
